About the Author

Business tells us that successful implementation of innovations requires complete and thorough attention to all-important costs. The concept is called the "Total Cost of Ownership." McKenzie suggests that most TCO models ignore important costs that educators would emphasize and he offers a model he calls "The True Cost of Ownership" to cover all essential elements.

This is a sample chapter of his latest book, Just in Time Technology: Doing Better with Fewer.
