Kenneth L. Vesey is not afraid to call himself a librarian, a profession he's held now for nearly fifteen years. He is currently Director of Library Services at the Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia. Previous to this he was librarian at The American School in Switzerland in Lugano, and at St. John's International School in Waterloo, Belgium.

He holds a Masters of Library & Information Science from the University of Maryland, and a Masters of Arts from Cornell University.

He was a participant in the Stanford-California State Library Institute on 21st Century Librarianship during the Summer of 2001. Most recently he was the winner of the 2002 American Association of School Librarianship Information Technology Pathfinder Award for a web-based tutorial called the "Article Finder"

He has avidly developed the library home page at the Lovett School as a useful, teen-centered gateway to information, whose goal is to lead students to quality digital resources, as well as enhance the use of the traditional library collection. The Lovett Library home page was distinguished as the IASL/Concord School Library Web Page of the Month in May 2000.

He is currently working on a rough draft of an article tentatively called "Behold the Internet Counterrevolution," which begins, "Librarians are madder than hell and we're not going to take it anymore..."
